A Step-by-Step Guide
Are you gearing up for an exhilarating skydiving experience at Jump Omaha? We’ve got you covered with all the essential information to ensure you’re well-prepared for the adventure of a lifetime.
Arrival and Check-In Process
Your journey begins with the check-in process. Upon arrival, make sure to check in with our manifest staff. Bring your government-issued photo identification (Passport or Driver’s License) and complete the online waiver beforehand (link provided in your confirmation email). If you have not completed the waiver online, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation time to complete the waiver process. The entire check-in process takes approximately 10 minutes if the waiver was complete before you arrive.
Training Class
After check-in, students will participate in a pre-jump training class with our experienced instructors. The training is mostly one-on-one and lasts around 30 minutes. Be ready to absorb the essentials for a safe and thrilling jump.
Waiting Period and Spectators
Following the training class, students will be assigned a jumping order, and there’s usually a waiting period of around 1.5 hours. Spectators are welcome but must stay within the roped-in viewing area. Limited seating is available at picnic tables, so feel free to bring your own lawn chairs for added comfort. Please note that outhouses serve as restrooms on-site.
Rules and Regulations
As you gear up for your skydiving experience, remember that dogs, smoking, and drinking are not allowed. Ensure compliance with these rules to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment. Additionally, spectators should remain in designated areas and refrain from driving or parking on the runway under any circumstances.
Food and Amenities
Pack your own snacks, or take advantage of the vending machine on-site. If you’re in the mood for more options, additional food choices are just a 3-5 minute drive away. Plan accordingly for a full day of excitement, and park in the designated area upon arrival.
Weather Considerations
Keep in mind that skydiving is weather-dependent. If weather conditions are unfavorable on your scheduled date, you’ll have up to 1 year to reschedule your jump. Please note that jumps are nonrefundable.
